Keep It Casual

…by Shauna-Elyse

Over the last few weeks I have been playing around with MAC’s Casual lip and cheek colour in the shade of Keep It Casual. On my lips it could pass for a nude look, which I have been pairing with my navy blue, black and purple Smokey-eyed looks. I use it on both my lips and cheeks, and to be honest, I LOVE IT!

For lips: If you want a lip gloss with a sheer wash of colour, this is the product for you. For a sultry evening look, pair it with a lip liner like: Burgundy or Half-Red also by MAC.
Be sure to use MAC’s prep+prime for lips, as it can give you the dreaded white line near the corners of your mouth.

For cheeks: I contour my cheeks first with a darker matte powder, to give the appearance of cheek bones. Then I apply three fingerprints of Keep it Casual going up towards my temple. I then take my MAC 187 brush and use circular motions to really buff the colour into my cheeks. Depending on the day and my mood, I might also highlight with either my MAC Gold Deposit bronzer or Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Rose Gold.
The lip and cheek colours cost around $24(CAD) each and come in 8 shades. If you are looking for an all-in-one product, which you can utilize in different ways, I would definitely recommend that you try this product.

Stay blessed and stay beautiful until next week…
